Offshore staff
DUBAI -- Maritime Industrial Services has established MIS Production Services to provide gas compression equipment for offshore and onshore field developments.
The new division’s activities are designed to complement those of MIS’ existing EPC and Fabrication divisions and Energy Projects International (EPI), strengthening its goal of providing a full scope of contracting services to the oil and gas sector.
Initially, the new business will focus on packaging and distribution contracts with major engine and equipment manufacturers with regard to:
- Maintenance and operational support for existing installations
- Long-term rental (including operation and maintenance) of equipment and
- Manufacture, assembly and sales of new gas compression installations. Packages will be designed and manufactured by MIS in-house using the group’s various fabrication facilities.
MIS Production Services will be led by Lee Turnbull and Peter MacDonald, two veterans of the gas compression industry, and Jason Tyrer, who has over 16 years’ experience in production chemicals and associated services.
