Statoil has awarded a contract worth about $225.4 million to FMC Kongsberg for subsea systems at its North Sea Tyrihans field.

(Norway, North Sea) - Statoil has awarded a contract worth about $225.4 million to FMC Kongsberg, a unit of US FMC Technologies, for subsea systems at its North Sea Tyrihans field.
"The agreement covers assistance and maintenance of the facility during installation and operation," Statoil says in a statement.
The job is part of Statoil's plan to bring Tyrihans oil and gas field in the Halten Bank area of the North Sea onstream in 2009.
