Offshore staff

BERGEN, Norway -- Oceanteam Power & Umbilical has signed a three-year, $64-million contract with Bourbon Offshore covering the construction support and flexible product installation vessel, CSV North Ocean 101.

The final client is a major operator in West Africa who will use the vessel for ROV and field maintenance support.

Oceanteam expects to have the vessel ready for operations in West Africa by the end of September 2007. The vessel will have two 85 metric ton (94 ton) cranes installed, accommodations for 120 people, and 2000 sq m (21,528 sq ft) of free working deck.

Oceanteam Power & Umbilical expects to expand its services further in the region.
