LAFAYETTE, Louisiana The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) recently awarded C&C Technologies a contract to locate underwater hurricane debris along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
C&C is using shallow-water sonar equipment to provide precise locations of marine hazards and to aid in their subsequent recovery. Data collected by several small survey vessels is provided to NOAA on a weekly basis for inclusion in a comprehensive database.
