Seadrill secures tender rig contract in Indonesia

HAMILTON, Bermuda -- Seadrill Ltd. has received a letter of intent from ConocoPhillips for development drilling in Indonesia.
The three-year contract is to begin 4Q 2008 or 1Q 2009. Estimated contract value is $178 million. Seadrill has the option to use either theWest Berani semisubmersible or West Setia semi tender for this assignment.
The final contract is subject to agreement on contractual terms as well as Indonesian governmental approval.
