(Portugal)-An unnamed source has reported that the Portuguese government will soon award three-year concessions to Portugal's state-owned Galp Energia and Brazil's Petrobras, allowing them to prospect for oil in deep waters off the Alentejo and Peniche coasts.

The decision will be announced by Portuguese Economy Minister Manuel Pinho in coming days, and follows a recent agreement by the two companies to increase their exploration partnerships.
