Offshore staff
Belmet Marine (Pty) Ltd., a diversified steel fabrication company based in Cape Town, has entered into a co-operation agreement with the specialized high-pressure steel pipe fabrication and supply company 3CMetal of Pau, France.
This co-operation agreement will encompass, but not be limited to, the exchange of technologies, sharing of design information, joint fabrication and project work, and the general supply of specialized products.
The two companies currently concentrate on supplying steel fabricated products and services to the offshore and oilfield industries primarily in Europe, West Africa, and the Middle East.
The synergies presented by these two companies will now offer significant benefits to their existing customers and also expand both companies' footprints internationally.
This co-operation agreement also affords both companies increased access to specialized technology and products, a broadened skills base, and a wider reach into markets within which they previously competed.
