Offshore staff

(Stavanger) Hydro has confirmed a two-year extension of KCA Deutag's production drilling services contract in the Norwegian sector through to July 2008. This relates to fixed installations on Oseberg South, Oseberg East, Oseberg C, Oseberg B, Brage and Njord.

Hydro is currently drilling production wells on four of these fields, with a new campaign due to start on Brage this fall. The company is also building a new integrated drilling module on Oseberg East, with a new phase of drilling and maintenance planned on the platform starting early next year.
