Champion expanding global footprint

Champion Technologies has invested in a new headquarters in Aberdeen and facilities expansion in Scandinavia, the Middle East, Africa, and Caspian.

ABERDEEN, UK -- Champion Technologies has invested in a new headquarters in Aberdeen and facilities expansion in Scandinavia, the Middle East, Africa, and Caspian.

The company has expanded its premises in Altens, Aberdeen, and construction of a new technology and research and development center is under way.

The building, which is due for completion later this year, will house five generic chemical processes and applications and will work in partnership with existing laboratories and technical centers in the Netherlands, Houston, Calgary, Moscow, Singapore, and Dubai.

The company has also moved to a new facility in Stavanger, Norway, that offers onsite customer training schools to communicate up-to-date production chemistry technologies and processes to customers.

In the Middle East, Champion has opened an additional office in Dubai. Alan MacLean has moved from his position as UK business manager in Aberdeen to his new role as regional manager - Middle East.

Champion Technologies has also opened a liaison office in Algeria.
