Aker Well Services, Deepwell Norge to provide StatoilHydro mechanical wireline services

StatoilHydro has awarded Aker Well Service and Deepwell Norge framework contracts for mechanical wireline services for fields on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS).

OSLO -- StatoilHydro has awarded Aker Well Service and Deepwell Norge framework contracts for mechanical wireline services for fields on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS).
The two framework contracts are valid for three years, with two, two-year option periods. Jointly the two contracts cover almost all StatoilHydro-operated fields in the North Sea.
Deepwell Norge AS is assigned a framework contract for wireline operations on the Statfjord, Snorre, and Sleipner fields, while Aker Well Service is awarded contracts for the remaining wireline operations on the NCS, with the exception of the Morvin and Tyrihans fields.
