RAK Petroleum Oman acquires Eagle Energy

JERSEY, Channel Islands -- RAK Petroleum Oman has acquired Eagle Energy (Oman) from Heritage Oil for $28 million, plus a working capital adjustment of $0.4 million.

Eagle Energy holds a 10% interest in block 8, Oman. Block 8 contains the Bukha field, which has been producing since 1994, and the West Bukha field, which began production in February.
