Vertec Engineering to provide laboratory units for offshore Africa, Australia projects

Oleochem has awarded Vertec Engineering a $265,488 contract to design and manufacture an A60 Zone 2 rated laboratory unit for use on a Shell Nigeria Exploration & Production’s FPSO in the Bonga field, offshore Africa.

ABERDEEN, UK -- Oleochem has awarded Vertec Engineering a $265,488 contract to design and manufacture an A60 Zone 2 rated laboratory unit for use on a Shell Nigeria Exploration & Production’s FPSO in the Bonga field, offshore Africa.

Vertec is providing a similar unit for Hilton Instruments, under a $248,895 contract. The unit will be used on Woodside Energy’s CWLH redevelopment project, offshore Australia.

Vertec scope of work includes design of the module and its electrical, pressurization, and HVAC systems, along with final equipment installation onboard the FPSO Okha.
