OSLO -- BP has awarded Aker Qserv a contract renewal for the continued provision of well services in the North Sea. The three-year contract has two, one-year extension options.

Under the contract, Aker Qserv will continue as BP's primary supplier of well intervention services from its Aberdeen base. Scope of work encompasses coiled tubing, pumping, slickline, and support for electrical line and logging equipment.

“To secure this contract renewal is testimony to our track record of service delivery and the strength of our relationship with BP,” says Ciaran Dreelan, director of Aker Qserv. “Our intention is to sustain and enhance our quality of service - and to do so more efficiently because we are able to draw upon the wider capabilities of the Aker Solutions group.”
