ABERDEEN, UK -- EnerMech has joined an oil and gas industry steering group that is reviewing guidelines for flexible hose management.
Conducted by The Energy Institute, the group comprises operators such as Talisman, Chevron, and Nexen and major suppliers, and will review the current UKOOA guidelines, which were established in 2003.
The guidelines, which are expected to be completed by April 2010, will set a benchmark for the management, technical controls, and procedures needed to ensure the integrity of Flexible Hose Assemblies (FHAs) throughout the products’ lifecycle.
