The objective of the newly combined MCS Houston business is to establish industry-leading capability in riser and mooring design; harsh environment engineering; research and development services; advanced subsea engineering tools and analytical software; and subsea integrity management, the companies say.

Current examples of work being carried out by the group include ultra high-pressure/high-temperature pipeline and riser design; limit state engineering and dynamic simulation; advanced structural, geotechnical, and finite element analysis; arctic pipeline design; and deepwater riser engineering and management.
