OSLO -- Norsk Hydro is extending its corporate management board by the addition of two members, Oliver Bell and Johnny Undeli. The changes will come into effect from March 30, 2009, when Svein Richard Brandtzæg takes over as president and CEO from Eivind Reiten.
As part of the reorganization, the current business areas aluminum metal and aluminum products will both be divided into two, enlarging the number of business areas in the company from four to six: energy, primary metal, metal markets, rolled products, extruded products, and projects.
Bell will head the rolled products business area; Hilde Merete Aasheim, who is currently head of aluminum metal, will continue as executive VP for primary metal. The head of metal markets will be announced at a later date, the company says. Undeli will head the extruded products business area.
All changes will be effective from March 30, 2009.
