LONDON -- BP has awarded Petrofac Training a three-year training management solutions contract.
Under the $5 million contract, Petrofac will deliver a full administrative training package to BP's North Sea business. This will include identifying, procuring, and scheduling all training requirements for more than 2,000 UK-based BP employees working in the North Sea.
The training administration contract, which will create ten new jobs at Petrofac Training's Montrose, Scotland facility, will allow for the transfer of knowledge within the BP organization, offering savings in training costs through enhanced buying power, the company says.
