Statoil taps TDW for pipeline isolation services

STAVANGER, Norway –TDW Offshore Services (TDW) has signed an extended framework agreement with Statoil to provide pipeline pressure isolation services and equipment for installations in the Norwegian North Sea.
The agreement specifies that TDW will continue to supply pipeline pressure isolation services for 8-in. to 48-in. pipelines with its remotely-operated SmartPlug pipeline pressure isolation tool.
The three-year agreement features two two-year options to renew. In the past 10 years, TDW has carried out more than 30 pipeline isolations for Statoil.
