PRESENS introduces world's lightest subsea tree sensor at OTC

HOUSTON -- PRESENS introduced the world's lightest subsea christmas tree oil and gas sensor at the 2008 Offshore Technology Conference in Houston.

The total weight is 6.5 kg (14.3 lb), a total accuracy of <±0.02%FS, one-year drift of <±0.02%FS, and an inherent tolerance to over-pressure and pressure spikes.

PRESENS' new subsea sensor enables high-accuracy pressure and temperature measurements throughout the life of the field, the company said.
