Oilfield Technology develops Ultrawire Formation Logging Tools

Oilfield Technology, a GE Energy Company incorporating Sondex, has developed the Ultrawire Formation Logging Tools (U-FLT) which is the only open hole system available formation evaluation measurements in an integrated suite, said Steve Elder, Lane Roberts, and Phillip Hnatiuk with Sondex at the 2008 Offshore Technology Conference today in Houston.

HOUSTON-- Oilfield Technology, a GE Energy Company incorporating Sondex, has developed the Ultrawire Formation Logging Tools (U-FLT) which is the only open-hole system available with formation evaluation measurements in an integrated suite, said Steve Elder, Lane Roberts, and Phillip Hnatiuk with Sondex at the 2008 Offshore Technology Conference today in Houston.

Roberts say the system offers the integration of high-end formation evaluation sensors into turnkey systems that are reliable and easy to maintain.
