HOUSTON -- Infield Systems is inviting OTC attendees to participate in forecasting the price of oil. The objective is to predict the price of oil (WTI spot in US dollars and cents) on the last trading day before OTC 2009 (May 1) and support your view with a short three-point rationale statement.

The person who is closest will win a Canon EOS 450D SLR digital camera (or equivalent model). The survey results will be published after OTC 2008. Visit www.infield.com.

According to Infield, a review of forecasts from five years ago has shown that no one has accurately forecasted the 2008 activity levels, oil price, and oil price rationale. The analysts say they accurately forecasted activity levels and oil price rationale, but underscored the oil price.
