Baker Hughes expands extreme HPHT test center

Baker Hughes Inc. today opened Phase II of its new $42-million Center for Technology Innovation (CTI), the only such facility in the world capable of testing full-size prototype systems for completion equipment at 40,000 psi and 700° F.

HOUSTON -- Baker Hughes Inc. today opened Phase II of its new $42-million Center for Technology Innovation (CTI), the only such facility in the world capable of testing full-size prototype systems for completion equipment at 40,000 psi and 700° F.
