Grenland wins Aker engineering contract

Aker Oilfield Services has awarded Grenland Group a two-year, $3 million engineering and supervision contract.

OSLO -- Aker Oilfield Services has awarded Grenland Group a two-year, $3 million engineering and supervision contract. The contract scope includes detailed design and integration of the well intervention systems onboard Aker Oilfield Services' subsea well service vessel currently under construction.

The vessel is the second in Aker Oilfield Services's new fleet of subsea well service vessels. Delivery is scheduled for 1Q 2010.
