HOUSTON -- The International Association of Drilling Contractors North Sea Chapter presented an Associate Member Award to NOV Brandt during its Annual Safety Awards Ceremony held recently in Aberdeen. The award recognizes new activities or initiatives in risk-reducing fields such as environmental projects and technical or operational innovations.
NOV Brandt received the award for its program of noise reduction on its VSM 300 shale shaker line. An engineering and testing exercise achieved a reduction on an individual shaker to 67.4 dBA.
