Reservoir Group acquires Extreme Machining

Reservoir Group has acquired Extreme Machining, an Australian company, which designs and manufactures oilfield tools.

ABERDEEN, UK -- Reservoir Group has acquired Extreme Machining, an Australian company, which designs and manufactures oilfield tools. The company's products include the WedgeTail roller reamer and ShingleBack disposable IB stabilizer.

Founded in 2002, Extreme Machining uses CNC machinery to design and manufacture tools from its plant in South Australia. The company, which employs 25, provides both local and international clients with proprietary drilling equipment.

Extreme Machining's MD Mat Kennedy will continue to manage the business, according to Reservoir Group.
