ABERDEEN, UK -- Swire Oilfield Services has formed a new company, Gemstar Oilfield Services, following a $13.8 million joint venture with Angolan trading and oil conglomerate, Grupo Gema.
According to Swire, Gemstar Oilfield Services will provide operators in the region with an extensive suite of products and services including chemical tanks and handling, basket and container rental, and offshore aviation services. The new company will operate from a site in Luanda.
