LONDON -- SOCO International subsidiary SOCO Vietnam Ltd. says the prime minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has extended until June 6, 2008, the deadline of the Hoang Long Joint Operating Co.'s obligation to surrender the remainder of the block 16-1 contract area.
This extension allows the JOC to complete the currently agreed active work program, SOCO says.
