Offshore staff
GRANGEMOUTH, UK -- TTE Scotland has been selected by Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Co. (SNEPCO) to deliver specialist skills to Nigerian technicians.
A group of 14 technicians from SNEPCO will spend 22 weeks at TTE Scotland's training center in Grangemouth working towards qualifications and competencies. The technicians will also undergo the Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH) "Working Safely" qualification.
On returning to Nigeria, the technicians will be assigned to a number of SNEPCO's oil and gas facilities, including the Sea Eagle offshore platform.
"British technical training is held in very high regard by international industry and we are very proud to bring these Nigerian technicians to Scotland," says Con McGeady, TTE Scotland's commercial business manager. "TTE Scotland is perfectly placed to offer industry specific learning for the oil, gas and process sectors and make Scotland a first choice training destination for international companies."
