Fairfield signs Maureen Core farm-in agreement

Fairfield Cedrus has signed a farm-in agreement with Canadian North Sea Energy (CNS).

STAINES, UK -- Fairfield Cedrus has signed a farm-in agreement with Canadian North Sea Energy (CNS).

CNS will farm in to Fairfield's operated Maureen Core area and take interests in the following licenses which cover six UK continental shelf blocks:

•Licenses P.110, P.591, P.1173, and P.1174
•Blocks 16/29a (Maureen field area), 16/29b, 16/29d, 16/29e, 16/24a, 16/24b.

Fairfield plans to drill the well in early 2009, with a view to supporting a field redevelopment via existing infrastructure.
