JOHOR, Malaysia -- Halliburton inaugurated its sixth Eastern Hemisphere manufacturing center.

The 20,000 sq m (215,000 sq ft) facility, about 60 km (37 mi) northwest of Singapore, targets supply chain production and delivery capabilities across Halliburton's Completion and Production division.

Personnel in Johor perform procurement and customer-service activities, as well as engineering, machining, and product assembly. The Johor facility primarily will supply the company's completion equipment and cementing tools to customers in the Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Europe/Eurasia regions.
