DURHAM, UK -- Alcatel-Lucent has awarded CTC Marine Projects a submarine network installation contract.
The contract will be for an initial six-month period starting in June 2008, with a six-month extension option.
CTC will employ a comprehensive telecoms installation spread for the work, using theMaersk Responder vessel and the company's MD3 cable plough.
