LANCASHIRE, UK – Balltec Ltd, the UK-based supplier of mooring connectors, pipeline recovery tools, lifting tools and load testing services is relocating to a large new workshop and office facility. The move from Carnforth, Lancashire to Morecambe just four miles away trebles Balltec’s square footage, positioning the company for continued growth.
The new workshop facility is 40,000 sq ft with an eaves height of 48 ft (15 m); work is ongoing to install 25 metric ton and 10 metric ton overhead cranes spanning the full 35 m (115 ft) width of the building.
Richard Taylor Balltec Technical Director said: “This new workshop is a fantastic facility, the substantial height of the building and lifting capacity of the new cranes will allow Balltec to expand into the supply of larger tools and the execution of more complex projects.”
