DAVIS, California -- Schilling Robotics has opened one new support center in Singapore, and has begun construction of another scheduled to open in April 2011 in Brazil.

The support centers partner with FMC Technologies and are in FMC facilities. Each location will carry approximately $1 million of spare parts inventory to ensure efficient service.

The Singapore facility has started taking orders and will be providing technical support, including onsite repair of all Schilling manipulator systems. The support facility in Macaé, Brazil, is a custom designed 3,000 sq ft (914 sq m) building.
