BOULDER, Colorado -- To take a pro-active approach to environmental monitoring, Apache and Spatial Energy have developed an enterprise-wide workflow process and operational program to monitor worldwide exploration and production activities, along with acquisitions and divestitures, using remote sensing.

“We are excited about partnering with Apache as they take the lead in this first-of-its kind energy industry initiative to monitoring the environmental impact and safety of their global operations in areas of current and historical development, as well as environmentally sensitive areas,” says Bud Pope, Spatial Energy’s president. “We will provide the latest high resolution satellite and aerial data, advanced algorithms and delivery methods, and the processing support necessary to meet the industry-leading standards set by Apache with this program.”
