Subsea 7 lands Petrobras service contract

Subsea 7’s i-Tech division has won a $60 million contract with Petrobras for the provision of ROVs and underwater positioning services on the Far Saga platform supply vessel.

Luxembourg– Subsea 7’s i-Tech division has won a $60 million contract with Petrobras for the provision of ROVs and underwater positioning services on the Far Saga platform supply vessel.

The contract covers an initial six years of work offshore Brazil with options to extend for another six years.

Bruce Masson, managing director of i-Tech, said the contract would see the first deployment of the company’s new generation Centurion SP work class ROV on board the PSV.
