STAVANGER, Norway – Statoil (OSE:STL) has awarded NCS Survey a three-year contract for rig positioning services on the Norwegian continental shelf. Work is under way.
NCS was established last November at IOS InterMoor’s facility in Dusavik (Stavanger), with creation of an electronics workshop to support survey and positioning operations.
The new company will support subsea construction, seabed mapping and visualization, autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) activities, and rig positioning.
