Water Standard updates offshore Angola, Gulf of Mexico assignments

Water treatment specialist Water Standard has won two offshore contracts.

HOUSTON – Water treatment specialist Water Standard has won two offshore contracts.
The company recently expanded its capabilities when it acquired Houston-based Monarch Separators.
One of the jobs involves provision of equipment for a project offshore Angola, which Monarch Separators originally completed in 2013.
The other is for a Hi-Flow Skid Package comprising vessels and associated piping designed to treat produced water for a major oil company’s platform in theGulf of Mexico.
Both sets of equipment are being manufactured in Water Standard’s newly remodeled, 22,000-sq ft (2,044-sq m), ASME certified fabrication facility.
