ALPHEN AAN DEN RIJN, the NetherlandsFrames and Evoqua Water Technologies are teaming up to supply seawater electrochlorination systems.

The arrangement involves integration of Evoqua’s Chloropac system into Frames’ seawaterelectrochlorination system.

Chloropac is said to provide energy-efficient, long-term plant operation through efficient biofouling control, protecting upstream pipeline and process equipment against marine fouling.

Each system from Frames features a clean, concentric tubular electrode design that makes the package, the company claims, a more compact, low-maintenance system that does not require any electrode cleaning processes, such as acid washing.
