Cabgoc, a ChevronTexaco subsidiary, awarded a $660 million EPIC contract to a consortium of Stolt Offshore and Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Eng. for the Sanha field, off Angola. The contract involves engineering, fabrication, and installation of five offshore platforms with two linking bridges. Modifications include three existing platforms and the installation of 100 km of subsea pipelines ranging in diameter from 4-in. to 30-in., in about 100 meters of water. The Stolt Offshore share is $240 million.
