Statoil has awarded four contracts and frame agreements for ROVs with a total value of around NKr1.8 billion.
Oceaneering secured a three-year contract with three options for two-year extensions to provide ROV services on Heidrun in the Norwegian Sea.
Subsea7 won a similar three-year contract, with three options for two-year extensions, to provide the same type of services on the Visund field in the North Sea.
Statoil also concluded frame agreements with Oceaneering, Subsea7, Sonsub, and DeepOcean for ROV services on mobile drilling rigs.
