Ramunia wins Petronas platform contract

Malaysia's Ramunia Holdings Bhd says its wholly owned subsidiary Ramunia Fabricators Sdn Bhd has received a letter of award from the national upstream company Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the construction of an oil and gas platform worth $30.46 million.

(Malaysia) - Malaysia's Ramunia Holdings Bhd says its wholly owned subsidiary Ramunia Fabricators Sdn Bhd has received a letter of award from the national upstream company Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the construction of an oil and gas platform worth $30.46 million.

The contract involves the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) of Abu A minimal integrated production platform of the Abu Cluster development project, offshore Trengganu, on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

The EPCC would take about 14 months from the award date of Oct. 19, 2005.
