Crosbie Salamis wins FPSO contract

(Canada)- Canadian joint venture company Crosbie Salamis (CSL) has been awarded the fabric maintenance services contract for Husky Energy'sSea Rose FPSO in the White Rose oil field, offshore Newfoundland. The contract is for three years with a total value of approximately $6.4 million.
More than 10 Crosbie Salamis personnel will be involved in the work projects, which will entail services such as project management, painters, scaffolders, riggers, insulators, carpenters, Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORM) handling/cleaning, and welding.
Robert Crosbie, President of CSL said, "The award of this contract reinforces CSL's position as the contractor of choice for the provision of fabric maintenance services in Canada's east coast offshore oil and gas industry."
CSL is a 50/50 joint venture between the Crosbie Group and Salamis, the international services contractor that provides multi-disciplinary support services to clients in the energy and petrochemical sectors.
