(North Sea and Asia-Pacific) - Vetco Aibel has announced contract awards for platform support in the North Sea and Australia's North West Shelf.

In the Norwegian sector, Statoil has contracted the company to perform modifications to the Snorre A platform related to a firewater system capacity upgrade.

The work scope includes pre-fabrication and installation of a new firewater pump and associated systems with a capacity of 2,000 cu m/hr.

Off Australia, Vermilion Oil and Gas has asked the company to provide operations, maintenance and engineering support to the Wandoo platforms, under a five-year contract valued at $21 million.
