Anadarko pledges $1 million to victims of Hurricane Katrina

Anadarko Petroleum Corp. will donate $1 million in aid to assist victims of Hurricane Katrina. The majority of Anadarko's donation will go to the American Red Cross disaster relief fund and the United Way Katrina Relief Fund.

(Houston, Texas)-Anadarko Petroleum Corp. will donate $1 million in aid to assist victims of Hurricane Katrina. The majority of Anadarko's donation will go to the American Red Cross disaster relief fund and the United Way Katrina Relief Fund.

Anadarko employees are able to make donations directly to the Red Cross and the company has a matching program. Employees are also volunteering at numerous organizations across the greater Houston area and the company has organized food and supply drives to local food banks and shelters.
