Type 1, 2 and 3 drill string cutters from SwETech . Since the SwETech Type 3 drill collar cutter (CDC) was successfully tested in Aberdeen last year, the tool has been used around the world. The Type 3 completes the company's range of CDCc with the three sizes now covering the full range of drill collar O.D.s from 4 inches and above. Now the company has turned its attention towards developing a range of shape charges to cut drill pipe and tubings.

Now the company has turned its attention towards developing a range of shape charges to cut drill pipe and tubings.

Following a development period of six months in cooperation with Bofors, the drill pipe and tubular cutters are currently undergoing tests with a launch expected later this year.
