Acomarin Engineering is an independent Finnish maritime naval architect and engineering company specializing in engine room control technology, fuel and lubrication oil treatment systems, valve control systems, ballast water management and treatment in articulated tug and barge (ATB) – Pushpin coupling systems. The company was recently granted R&D funding from the European Commission for its Ultrasonic Fuel Treatment, Homogenization, Water Injection – Emulsification, and Fine Filtration System (Ultrasaff).

Kvaerner Masa-Yards

Kvaerner Masa-Yards operates two shipyards in Finland and is experienced in designing and building special tankers, gas carriers, FPSOs, FSOs, ice-going vessels, and other ships for the offshore oil and gas industry. Design and engineering services, such as ship design consulting, engineering, R&D, and project evaluation, are offered through the independent company Kvaerner Masa-Yards Technology in Finland and Kvaerner Masa-Marine, based in the US and Canada.
