ABERDEEN, UK — Subsea equipment rental and services provider Ashtead Technology acquired Hiretech, a management owned equipment rental, service and maintenance company serving the offshore, decommissioning and renewable energy sectors.

Hiretech, which owns a range of marine and subsea equipment rental assets, becomes Ashtead’s seventh company acquisition over the past five years; it previously acquired WeSubsea in September.
