Norway approves Aker BP/Lundin E&P merger

STOCKHOLM, Sweden — Aker BP and Lundin Energy have received all required approvals from Norway’s Ministry of Petroleum and Energy to combine their E&P businesses.

Both companies’ shareholders have already approved the merger, which now looks set to complete at the end of June.
