Norwegian groups end decommissioning talks

FORNEBU, Norway – Aker Solutions and AF Gruppen have called off the proposed merger of their offshore decommissioning operations, announced in July.

Despite a strong strategic rationale, Aker Solutions said, the two sides could not reach a final agreement.

Both companies added that they hope to continue constructive relations in other business areas in the future.
