Offshore staff
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – Velesto Energy says all personnel onboard the jackup Velesto Naga 7, which sank last week offshore Sarawak, are safe and have been transferred onshore to Miri.
The incident occurred following rapid soil penetration. Velesto expects the financial impact to be mitigated as the rig is said to be adequately insured.
